Why Architects Choose WPC

Why Architects Choose WPC

Whenever we explain things, we understand you must have this question in your mind as to why specifically WPC should be preferred as a major option for door frame applications. Quite right.

Well, the answer seems pretty easy, let us consider the fact that, Architects, always prefer innovative products, which are green and futuristic and want to induct them as ‘innovative solutions” for the country. But, most of the time what happens is that some companies fail to get the trust of those architects in the long term.

So, let’s start with a suggestion, that whenever they (architects) are buying a product or recommending a product, they must understand that they should never recommend a product which is made out of door sheets as a door jam rather they should always understand that they can always recommend a WPC product which has an encapsulation on all the six ends and is a pre-extruded product having the same glossy finish on all sides.

Well, WPC’s are meant for solving all the customer's problem and you will know below why it should be the no. 1 preferred choice,

1. Assembling

So, when any architect recommends a WPC product, they do so because they know that it will be saving their time during the assembling and installing process as there is no rebate time that is involved in the case of WPC.

2. Seasoning Time

Also, there is no seasoning time involved as is the case in wood, no miter or any sort of other joint is required, neither there is any painting cost involved nor is there any planning required, which saves a lot of time and also helps in cost-cutting too. This is the first and foremost reason.

3. Customer Satisfaction

For any architect if the customer isn't happy then, there is no point constructing and giving them the end product.

So, to make the customers feel happy, you would always consider their pain areas especially by keeping in mind the product that you are using, like if the product gets destroyed because of any kind of water, moisture damage or termite attack in the later stages which especially happens when any architect recommends the usage of wooden frames that are prone to the above problems, just because the customer would get a natural wood grain finish. However, even while promoting wood, they all know the fact that they are recommending a product which will surely get damaged in the long run. Hence, they should use/recommend a product that can cater to the above problems.

4. Product

This is very important as the product which they're recommending can have prolonged demerits or vice versa for the customers.

So while doing so, they should remember that these frames are prone to any kind of twist, crack, bending or warpage whereas WPC Frames caters a solution to the above problems.

5. Standardisations

When they recommend a WPC frame over a wooden frame then, it being an engineered and a standardised product, there would exist not even an mm gap from one frame to another.

6. Stability

But, when we compare it with a wooden frame then one knows, that from one frame to another frame it has a lot of variations in terms of its measurements and dimensions because of which its dimensional stability cannot be maintained as it's a natural product.

And in modern times as we know that construction is getting much faster and is experiencing drastic transformation because of the induction of Mivan Construction and Aluminium Foam work construction technology. So, the rapid transformation requires frames like the WPC frame as they are the only engineered product in this arena, which offers great help to every architect in terms of offering a standardized and engineered solution to the engineered buildings.

7. Cost-Effective

With that, they are also efficiently a cost-effective product when compared with UPVC, FRP or Timber.

8. Water And Termite

If any timber is being installed at a site then at the end of the day you know that it is likely to get destroyed because of water or moisture, conditions which can’t be avoided during construction especially when curing is taking place.

9. Bending, Warpages, and Twists

So at the end, if the product develops either twist, bends or some kind of crack after drying, then one not only has to replace the wood, but the entire wooden frame, which involves the process of breaking the flooring, which in turn involves the breaking of the machinery work along with the entire P.O.P (Plaster Of Paris) and then again performing the entire sort of activities all over again.

1o. Cost

And it’s not just the cost of the wooden frame which has to be taken into consideration but the actual cost for performing the above activities is actually three times the cost of the wooden frame if you calculate. So, if WPC is recommended over a wooden frame, it will throw away all the pain areas of your customer. Since architects are the one you know who recommends a product to you. Hence, he's acting just like a doctor, who recommends a medicine to answer your medical needs. Similarly, they (architects) always prefer to recommend a product that is green and since our door frames are IGBC and GRIHA certified.

So, it offers customers a great benefit over timber products.

11. Certifications

So, now when we talk about Real Estate (Regulation and Development ) ACT, 2016 [RERA], which today is in extreme limelight, as according to it, a homebuyer has to be given, a warranty for 5 years over their home furniture by the builder. Which assures them that their homes will not be damaged by water, dampness, moisture or termite attack. However, if a builder uses wooden frames then we all know that is impossible to guarantee that the wooden door frames will not be affected by these attacks. So when we talk about RERA, then WPC is a kind of a great product that can be used as a substitute and hence can be recommended to your clients.

12. Futuristic Approach

Last but not the least, is that every Architect leads a country to be brighter, futuristic and does a noble cause by following the ethical norms for the environment to keep planet Earth safe.

However, in the kind of global warming which is happening across the world, if an architect refers WPC products they contribute a bit of their pie to society. So, when all these factors are considered, one understands WPC is a product which is one of its own kinds and why they(builders, architects etc.) should be recommended it to their customers.
