The major points which led us to invent WPC/MPC Boards were the presence of conventional products like Plywood, MDF/HDF, Particle Boards, Cement Boards etc. after a clear understanding of all this product. We understood their limitations and looked forward to induct a product that would cater to all these problems/limitations. And this made us invent WPC in the market.
Let’s find the problems associated with the above conventional products and understand why WPC is a better substitute for the above products.
1. Termite-proof
The first problem that people were facing when they were using the above-mentioned products was “Termite attack.” WPC is a termite proof product.
2. Water and Moisture
The second problem was that of “Water and Moisture.” Whichever and whatever furniture we make today, we always want them and its application to be safe from water and moisture which WPC does as it is a water and moisture resistant product.
3. Natural Product
The third reason is that the “Nature” was getting disturbed as some of the above products were outsourced directly from nature i.e (Trees were cut down to obtain timber). Which was destroying the green cover leading to global warming. WPC, on the other hand, is GRIHA and IGBC certified and is a green product.
4. Standardisations
The fourth major point is when we take into consideration Plywood and Blockboard then we can evidently conclude that the above products are not an engineered product and because of which there is a variance in its quality and the above products were not a standardised product. WPC, on the other hand, is an engineered product that makes it a strengthened product as it has a stable density all over it.
5. Time-Consuming
The fifth point is “Time Consuming,” when we take into consideration plywood, MDF/HDF, they are time consuming products, like if you use this product to make kitchen carcasses, wardrobes etc. then one has laminate the product mandatorily which consumes a lot of the end users, contractors etc’s time, same is not the case with WPC.
6. Harmful Chemicals
The sixth point is the usage and emission of “Harmful Chemicals,” from the above mentioned products during manufacturing and installation.
There is no HDF/MDF which is not made without the help of chemicals rather these products use chemicals like Formaldehyde, Methanol, Urea etc. which is very dangerous to the health of humans and often leads to deadly diseases. WPC, on the other hand, has no harmful chemicals infused in it during its making. So, it's a user friendly product and you will feel that the invention was worth it, once you start using our product.
