The Basic Difference Between Fibre Cement Grills And MPC Grills
The Basic Difference Between Fibre Cement Grills And MPC Grills
Here we have discussed about the basic difference between Fibre Cement Grills and MPC Grils. Which will give you an insight as to what kind of a product WPC and Fibre Cement Grills are and accordingly you will be able to make a good choice in the future.
1. Weight
Fibre Cement Grills have a density of 1.5. Hence, its density is 3-5 times heavier than the Ecoste grills. Secondly, it increases the dead load weight of the building and also the cost increases because of the increase in the cost of fabrication, that is required. However, MPC grills don't have the above problems as it comes in low densities of 0.55 and 0.65 and the required framework is very light as well.
2. CNC
When we do CNC over a product whose density is high then at the corners there are certain breakages which develop during the process and the bits of CNC also gets broken very easily.
3. Finishing
So the finishing that comes out in a Fibre Cement Grills is very pathetic as compared to MPC.
Because doing CNC on MPC boards for converting them into MPC Grills is done is a very precise manner. Also, at the end of the day finishing is something that no one likes to compromise on.
4. Price.
Well, the bison boards are cheaper than the WPC boards.
But when you go onto to do CNC on the boards then the cost of doing it on Fibre Cement Boards is higher than that of MPC. Hence, in the context of totality, MPC seems cheaper.
5. Ease Of Installation
When the core weight of the product is heavy then the framework required is also heavy and ease of installation is not there in Fibre Cement.
However, in case, of MPC its core weight isn't heavy and the framework required incase of MPC is either not very heavy as well. Also, you can carry the product from one floor to the other without any hassles.
6. Dimensions
Since we indigenously manufacture the sheets and perform CNC on them. Hence, dimension becomes flexible in case of MPC as we are able to design the product in any length, width and thickness at a minimal cost. It’s very important to note that because of Dimension flexibility you don't have to compromise with the MPC Grills design at any point. Whereas in case of Fibre Cement grills you only have the option of a standard board coming to you, rest if you want personalisations you will have to cut the board. This adds up to the cost of the board and hence the board becomes costly. Also, in case, of MPC it is very easy for us to open the screws and to refit, it again using a drill machine, the same is not viable in case of Fibre Cement grills. Moreover, if a user wants to do maintenance on his/her own because of leakages or anything else, then they can do so easily without any hassles.
7. Brittleness.
The weight of Fibre Cement Grill is very high, and since they are exposed to UV rays hence they get brittle and most often cracks are observed on the Cement Fibre Grills.
8. UV Resistance
MPC, on the other hand, is a UV resistant product because of its composition and design which is a very important factor as it is related to the aesthetics of the building.
9. Process Of Making
Our grills are made via the extrusion process. First, all the chemicals are mixed and later the sheets which are extruded, are crafted into a requisite design using a CNC machine. However, carving designs on a Cement Fibre grill is an intricate task as a job, as there are designs which require perforation, something which is not possible in Fibre Cement Grills.
10. Painting
Last but not the least is “Painting.” Fibre Cement Grills comes in Grey colour and it requires a special kind of paint if you want to paint it in white colour. Also, it involves recurring maintenance charges because, painting has to be carried out on it after every two years. In case of MPC since it comes in white colour hence they can be used directly without you painting it.
