3 Techniques Which Makes WPC Door Frames Installation Easy And Fast

At present our research states that carpenters and contractors are facing some sort of problems as WPC is a new product, and because of lack of training and education about it, they (carpenters) doubt themselves as to whether they will be able to operate the product correctly or not?

Well, whenever a new product comes in the market before using it, we reimagine and bring our preconceived notions like the first time I had used a new product, I had encountered this and that problem and that affects our future choices.

If today we are using timber frames, we have a set thought process which governs us to stick with it (i.e the conventional product) and to overcome this, is one of the biggest challenges.

So we will be discussing the three techniques which proves the installation of WPC is as easy as having an ice cream.
Well, when we talk about installation, it has three major points of which it is composed of.

1. FIXING TO WALL

This process can be performed in three ways which are discussed below,

 a. MS Holefasts, the one that we have been using since the last 50 years, is an evergreen product which can be used as it is used with timber, you just have to use screws and avoid nailing it.

 b. Fasteners, you can use fasteners and depending upon the detailing and the size of the door one can easily fix a WPC Door Frame.

 c.  PU Foam, there are companies which are supplying foams via which you can stick the WPC door frame. However you need to use fasteners.

Hence, in the “Dry Stage” installation, one can use any of the above steps

2. Filing Of Cavity

When we affix door frame with the wall, then there are certain gaps in between them, which can be covered, if you want by using a special product that is manufactured by Pidilite.

3. Covering The Gaps.

There is a point wherein the wall and the door frame connects with each other and leaves an ugly line in between, which if you don’t want to keep it raw, you can hide it using an archivetrape. If that is not available then, you can use a 12mm board with a stripe measuring 2-2.5 inch which can do the task and can make your door look aesthetic.
